Don't let Satori become dead and buried!
Hey everyone!

Since August of 2005, both myself and DJ Kevin have loved bringing you Satori every month. From our humble beginnings at the Savoy to our current venue, the Blank Club in San Jose, it's been a lot of fun spinning the music we love for a terrific audience. Since 2009 started, however, we've had many conflicting club nights with other clubs that many of our patrons attend, like Fate/Revenant, New Wave City, and Temptation, that have affected the attendance. We've tried requesting a more consistent date, but because the Blank Club does mostly live music, it's hard to schedule around bands, so our club date is always moving around to different weeks.

This past Saturday was our last New Wave night, at least for the foreseeable future. We're trying to focus more on Satori, and getting attendance up. Our next night is Saturday, July 25th. We're really hoping for a great turnout, or unfortunately, Satori will be in trouble of going away. So, if you like the club, please show up this month. If you haven't been by for a while, please try and make it. If you've never been, this is the month to come down.

Possibly one of the hardest things is operating in a vacuum. We receive very little feedback about the club, so please let us know what you think about Satori! Either comment on our LiveJournal, MySpace, or Facebook accounts, hit us up on Twitter, or send us an e-mail. If there's something you love or hate, let us know! While we won't be changing the focus of the music of the club, if that's your reason for not coming, we'd love to know. If you love everything about the club, let us know!
